What is the job role?
The job of a welder is to create a fusion between two metal pieces and join them together with the use of a manual or fully automatic welding machine. They fill and repair holes in metal constructions through intense heat and gas. Welders usually work in the industrial maintenance, manufacturing or construction sector.
What is the required qualification?
No college education is required to become a welder, but the job requires significant technical knowledge and practical experience that can be gained through our training program.
To join the course for Welders at Suprabhat ITI:
- Students must have qualified their 8th with a minimum score of 50% from any recognized board.
- Students must be between 16 to 28 years at the age of admission.
What will I learn in the course?
The one-year course will equip you with all the knowledge and skills required to become a successful welder. You will learn both technical skills and soft skills.
The course also offers placement services to help you find the perfect job. The incubation cell on campus can help you start your own business.
